The beginning of the Hydrogen Road Tour! Join coaches and athletes who are training for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games at the Arco US Olympic Training Center.
The International Olympic Committee establishing a policy that seeks to provide greater resources to sustainable development in and through sport at national, regional and international level, and particularly at the Olympic Games. The policy strives to promote Olympic Games which respect the environment and meet the standards of sustainable development, and aims to promote awareness among and educate the members of the Olympic family and sports practitioners in general of the importance of a healthy environment and sustainable development. During the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, a fleet of fuel cell buses will transport visitors around the city. It's fitting that the Hydrogen Road Tour starts the trek to Vancouver at the Arco Olympic Training Center.
An official U.S. Olympic Committee training facility dedicated to the development of America's current and future Olympic athletes participating in nine sports including archery, rowing, canoe/kayak, soccer, softball, field hockey, tennis, track and field, and cycling.
